Claiming music on Instagram requires you to fill out a bit of data for it to happen, but no worries I’ll show you how.
When claiming music, you make sure when people look up a track and click the artist name, they end up at your account.
How-to
The only requirement is that you use DistroKid as your distributor.

- Go to Instagram Profile Linking
- Fill in Artist Name
- example: Broken Holiday
- Fill in ISRC
- You can find it using DistroKid Dashboard
- Just select the track you want to claim and under song, you see the ISRC number.
- Fill in Instagram Handle
- example: @brokenholiday
- When done click Submit
- All done, now you just wait.
